My weekend was hell. There. I said it. And yes, I do feel better. I'm not going to go into details because my mom tried her hardest to teach me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I ignore it too often and then regret it later. So I'm practising restraint.
Moving on....
Our judge finally returned to court today and Kingsley got the paperwork signed. {That's the good news}
The bad news: the Westerby's boarded their plane and flew home today. Without Adjoa, obviously.
I understand that it went well at the Embassy and everything is now back in our file. It is once again complete {it was complete when the I-600 was approved, but then things were suddenly missing when we had our visa appointment}.
So we are back to trying to find a way to bring her home.
Do you know anyone coming from Ghana soon? {Flying Delta, routing through New York - that seems to be what is killing other options right now}

My heart just weeps for you. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you!!
I wish there was something I could do to help.
Just know you are in our prayers!
Oh sweetie. I am crying for you right now. This is the most terrible news and I just ache for you to have this precious child home with you!!!
I'm headed to Ghana on the 15th and returning the 25th, but that is just an ETERNITY away for you right now, I know. I can bring her home, but I'm flying KLM through Detroit. I hope something else comes through WAY before that, and I know you want/need Delta through NY.
Hugs,
Anita
I know I already said this today, but it just stinks so I will say it again-sorry! I hope you have some good news soon and you are able to find someone that can help or you can figure out a way to make it work for you or your husband to travel.
We won't be traveling Delta either when we travel,just to give a heads up.
why delta and new york - we will be flying back to houston on the 22nd - our offer still stands - let me know - i will be praying!
I am sooo.... sorry!!!
Wish I were there to give you a big hug!
If you don't have the time for another trip to Ghana, but can come up with a ticket ... I will jump on a plane and go bring your little girl home when she gets her visa.

Always remember you are not forsaken, you are loved. Adjoa is loved. I've decided to quit pulling him along behind me ( ButI do come up with good ideas :)I am walking beside him. For you, for now, allow to be carried. One set of footsteps in the sand....
I'm so sorry... it must be so difficult. Will pray for someone to be coming from Ghana to bring Adjoa home soon!
What an awesome support network you have. I love reading all the comments and just thinking of all the love and prayers that are being said for you. It will work out, you know that :) Adjoa is in good hands and she knows you love her. She'll be here "soon" we'll all get to meet her, and we'll continue to watch all the great things you do in life. Chin Up!!
I heard from Branden that there is good news. I hope everything goes well today!
