I'm not over-reacting, I do consider this an emergency....
We are getting Sarah's room all ready - I need help choosing colors.
We are installing beadboard to a height of about 5 feet. Right above the bead board, between two pieces of trim, I want to paint a horizontal blue stripe. The remainder of the wall, up to the ceiling will be yellow.
So that's:
YELLOW PAINT
white trim
BLUE STRIPE
beadboard down to floor
The fabric will be used for curtains. Which shades should I use????

use the red from that fabric.
I like the Lighter shades..much softer feeling.
I love that flower material! It's gorgeous!
I like the red idea too. Cute fabric!
I like the yellow on the left with the pale blue just below it.
I would go with the colors on the left but throw in some of the red for sure! So cute!
Am I the only one that doesn't know what beadboard is? It sounds adorable though. Anything you do usually is though. I acutally like the richness of the darker shades. One thing I will say though, since I have two rooms in my house that are yellow, is that they both turned out much brighter than I thought they would be. I painted Kate's bedroom a pale yellow, coconut custard actually. :)
do the lightest blue or no blue at at just the white and yellow, I think you have enough blue in just the fabric alone having too many colors might be overwhelming. Just my opinion though. I love the fabric. How did the quilt turn out? Katie
